Sexy Easy Lasagna

**Unknowingly, I got “Oven Ready” noodles at Wal-Mart the other day. You could totally use regular Lasagna noodles and Par-cook them as you normally would.

Ingredients:

1 pkg of Lasagna (Oven Ready)

Lots of  Sexy Sauce:

2 pkgs of Ricotta Cheese

3 cups of Italian Shredded Cheese

2 Eggs (slightly beaten)

Salt/Pepper

1 lb of ground beef (browned)

1 lb of sausage (browned)

package of pepperonis

***PLEASE NOTE** Of course you can add in layers of veggies (i.e. eggplant, zuchini etc). Those aren’t my fave, so I go with the basic layers.

  1. Preheat to 450.
  2. In a medium bowl mix ricotta, 2 cups of shredded cheese and the 2 eggs.  Mix well.
  3. In another bowl mix the ground beef and sausage.
  4. Mix in some salt and pepper.
  5. In a **9 x 13 lasagna pan, ladle some sauce covering bottom of pan.
  6. Put a layer of noodles down.
  7. Spread some Ricotta mixture on top of noodles
  8. Spread an even layer of meat mixuture.
  9. Ladle another round of sauce.

10. Repeat 5 thru 8.

11. On the last round put down noodles then sauce it up.

12. Sprinkle a little bit of shredded cheese

13. Evenly distribute some pepperonis on top

14. Sprinkle rest of shredded cheese

15. Cover with a double helping of Aluminum Foil — DO it TIGHTLY!

16. Bake for one hour.

17. Take off foil. Bake for additional 15 minutes.

18. Cool—then put in fridge to set.

19. Slice it up and nuke it.  Then eat!  YAY!

**Make sure this 9×13 pan is DEEP.  Your sauce will boil over if it’s not and smoke up the whole kitchen as I just found out.
