Directions
- Heat oven to 450 degrees F. Mix flour, baking powder, cream of tartar, sugar and salt in medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs … or just use your hands! Then cut in about a 1/4 cup of the cream cheese product. After that, stir in Cheddar. Add milk; stir until mixture forms soft dough.
- Place on lightly floured surface; knead 8 to 10 times or until smooth. Pat dough into 6-inch square; cut into 9 smaller squares. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheet. (or you can make mini biscuits and put the dough in a cupcake cooking pan- they rise real well with that)
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
